Jose Mourinho has become quite the character in world football, and more often than not, he makes the headlines rather than his players following a Manchester United match.

On Tuesday night, the Red Devils booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Young Boys, but they left it very late.

United have been criticised countless times this season for their lack of flair and energy on the pitch.

Once again they struggled to impose a threat at Old Trafford and it was Marouane Fellaini who made the difference as he scored the winner in injury time.

Mourinho had a very over-the-top reaction to the goal as he picked up a rack of water bottles and threw them to the ground on the touchline.

The Portuguese coach’s antics attracted the attention of many football fans, including Liverpool ones, who lambasted the United boss on Twitter.
